Procedure of Accepting Claims from CASCO Insurance

If you have a valid CASCO Insurance with one of the VIG insurers in Bulgaria and your car is damaged due to an insurance event in the country covered in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions, you should complete an application form in any of our 9 offices across the country.

Visual inspections and photos will be taken of the damages on spot, the actual handling of claims (depending of type indemnity) may be performed in regional offices or in the Company’s Claim Centers in Sofia.

The visual inspections are performed by our experts who have appropriate equipment at their disposal, capable of fast and accurate identification of the damages and their relation with the respective event. The Company also maintains mobile groups, which may visit the respective accident on-site and provide full assistance.

If your car is damaged from an event abroad and you have the respective extended coverage under Casco Insurance, you should send a notification to the following e-mail address: kasko_claims@bulstrad.bg, and follow the instructions received from our experts.
 

PROCEDURE OF ACCEPTING CLAIMS FROM CASCO INSURANCE

In the cases where the insurance of your car gives the right (in case of damage) to repair in a car service centre, the following requirements should be met:

  1. You should have a valid Bonus Casco Insurance with Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group ZAD, which gives you the right to repair in a car service centre;
  2. All installments of the insurance premiums should have been paid (unless otherwise agreed);
  3. Availability of coverage of damages suffered by you under the conditions of the insurance;
  4. All requirements of the General Terms and Conditions for proving the claim in terms of its grounds and amount should have been met;

If these prerequisites are present, the experts of VIG Services Bulgaria will issue an order letter for the repair of your car at specific car service centre at the expense of the insurer, and you will be given further instructions in relation to the repair.

Regretfully, that option is offered only under Casco Insurances.
 

OTHER METHODS OF INDEMNITY
